Family Cottages

These two projects are both based out of Cultus Lake.  Both projects involve extensive hours of design consideration and development; the buildings are designed to use the available space as efficiently as possible, yet they still illustrate an original design concept that utilizes the the natural environment to its advantage.

These two projects have encouraged the firm to develop new skills in the area of 3 Dimensional Computer Graphics.  The buildings are first drawn up in AutoCAD and then imported into 3D rendering software.  This process allows for better visualization of the building for the Client as well as the Architect.  It helps the team create the best design possible as structure and architecture are 'allowed' to progress together, therefore eliminating problematic design 'quirks.'
